Hey guys,
I install my python packages in my $HOME, and so i tried doing that with
be and it actually created them under $HOME/lib/python instead of the
standard $HOME/lib/python(x)/site-packages.
Of course then the import doesn't work and be wouldn't work. Moving the
created files to your standard python site-packages in my case
$HOME/lib/python2.5/site-packages solved this.
I'm afraid i don't know enough about distutils to fix this myself, so
thought I'd share this with you.
P.S. Please cc me directly if you'd like to respond. I am not a member
of the list.
