[Be-devel] [MERGE] add bug #556: git backend produces stacktrace on be set-root

Hello,

this is a follow up to my bug report:


git backend now works partially

After making some changes to git.py I managed to run "be set-root ."
from within a git repo.  Doing this from a subdirectory or pointing to
a git repo in another directory still fails, but at least everything
is properly initialized.  Bug creation from subdirectories (be new)
seems to work.
