This is ATRAP, one of the Antimatter Decellerator experiments. It was the first to successfully produce and trap AntiHydrogen in reasonable quantities. An antiproton beam is slowed to a snails' pace in order to allow wavefunction overlap with an inncident positron from the opposite direction. This is all done at a few millikelvin.   (22/117)
