Slices of the CMS return yoke/muon subsystem. This experiment weighs several thousand tonnes, and was loaded into the pit in slices like this. CERN had to nick 2x 240Ton SWL cranes from a shipbuilders' yard to get them in there. Easily the most beautifully designed of the experiments.   (72/117)
