I thought it would be nice to take up a non-corporeal residence, especially since web pages do not have the heating problems that accompany the lodging of warm-blooded tenants, and even Edinburgh weather doesn't seem to affect them.
The rent is predictably cheaper.
But then, my non-corporeal self doesn't take up much room.
My physical presence lives in various parts of Edinburgh, including the cafe Favorit, Middle Meadow Walk, the University buildings in George Square, and my Marchmont flat. My living room is home to the backnet node license2chill, and my bedroom is home to a mesmerising pile of debris, under which lie a few vintage evening gowns, a book collection, lecture notes, and a whole host of things I've lost and periodically dig for unsuccessfully. The digging may accomplish some Seamus Heaney-like self-discovery yet.
